All members of the Mothers' Union share equal status, but there are different ways of belonging.

Diocesan Member
Joins through a diocese and is not attached to a branch. She may be involved in Mothers' Union projects and activities at branch, diocesan or central level.
IMPC Member
Those who are housebound, whether through disability, increasing frailty or responsibilities as a carer may become IMPC members. They are visited by fellow members from their branches or IMPC rep. and remembered in prayer. In turn they pray with us for the active work of the Mothers’ Union here and around the world. Each indoor member receives the Prayer Diary twice yearly, regular letters and greetings at Christmas, Easter and Birthdays.
If there is someoneyou know who would like to become an Indoor Member please contact your branch leader who will pass on the information to the Senior Members' Contact.
Lord Jesus, the help of the helpless and companion of the lonely, we ask you to bless all those who are unable to leave their homes or join in public worship. Grant that they may always be conscious of you presence and of the oneness with the whole family of your Church; and grant that with one mind and one voice we may all worship you, with the Father and the Spirit one God for ever. Amen
